August Update on life & stuff ✨
Heya! So it’s been a month since I last did one of these. Judging from the reaction of that one, I am almost 100% sure anyone reading this, has at least read the previous blogpost. I’m going to keep it rolling on pretty much from where I left off there, if you’re reading this, you are most certainly a homie, so I’m sure this will all make sense as I update where I’m at with things currently
Last I was on here, I mentioned we didn’t have a living situation to go to. We’ve been living at Jessie’s Mum’s while we figure out a new Lease and I am opting out of being any kind of a property owner until life gets more stable. We’ve since found a spot to move into next week, so we are absolutely over the moon. Living like Grandpa Joe has been fun but I can’t wait to wake up in my own place and no longer be waking up in someone elses living room
Were not out of the woods of chaos just yet, but were almost there. I’ve missed out on a lot this year because of circumstances and priorities, so as of next week once were settled and stable again, I can’t wait to turn things back around and gear up to get more involved in tattoo events and community activities
Old Soul is hosting a Flash Day in benefit of Farm Animal Rescure & Happily Heifer After, of which I am low key SO stoked and grateful to be a part of. It’s not often I get the opportunity to be a part of any fundraising, so to be a part of this event with Old Soul & the homies that is focused on raising money for Animal Welfare, means heaps. All the event details are in the highlights on my Insta, I’ll have my flash ready to show everyone this coming weekend. Please save the date and come be a part of something truly awesome on August 18th.
It does feel good to be back in the rhythm where I can draw, design and no longer push all that to the side in aid of making sure my life doesn’t fall to pieces. I’ve got more flash on the way than I have in a while and I just wanna keep that momentum going. In between all of the above mentioned, things are growing so much in this new world of merch that I’ve been exploring and building
The quality of everything has been consistent, amazing and only getting better, thanks to my suppliers I’ve been able to co ordinate this all with. If you’ve placed an order for merch, I appreciate your patience and support so much, all orders will be shipped by @5pm this Friday :) So if this is you, please keep an eye on your emails for your tracking info to ping updates
The aspect of Merch printing & designing is a new venture, my buisness in that realm is called, ‘Fight Fair Design & Print’. As of this week, weve started to fulfill our first orders, so if you need any merch printed, hit me up. FFD&P’s online footprint is f**king minimal at the moment, but things will make more sense and appear more with that in the coming months, these things (of course) do take time. Otherwise, were fully operational and able to fulfil any merch orders that come our way
There’s still a whole aspect of my life I’ve left out of these blogposts, our band and what were doing. I’d love to go into detail there, but I’m also torn as to whether keep that all away from this online footprint for now. There’s so much going on, which is so far, just a pursuit of stability and foundation, journalling into these blogposts as I go
