2024, what a year 🫠

With keeping in the spirit of this blog being a stream of consciousness, accountability in cathartic journal entries published publicly, I’m writing these words in hopes to explain, catch up & fill in the blanks since the last blogpost

We managed to secure a place to live (very last minute), which was a lot to achieve & secure with all of life’s chaos since August, but we did it 🥲 Huge shout out to anyone else navigating the rental market & cost of living crisis. Things kinda felt like a bare knuckle fight against life since the last blogpost. However, I do feel more in harmony with life currently, which is a nice change

I’ve been reflecting a lot on this passed year now that we are starting to approach 2025, and in that reflection, I’m feeling a f**kload of gratitude. Two studios who deserve their roses and a show of appreciation from me for their influence, support and help this year; first being Compass Tattoo in Ipswich. I was lucky enough to work just a week with this team and I’m still feeling the benefits. There was a lot going on in in that time for me and the support from Ange, Nailz and the team affected me immensely & very positively

Which lead me to, Old Soul Tattoo. The wave of relief I feel from Dan & Kim’s studio setup, team/homies and vibe they’ve created, has definitely been the oasis found after the storm. I can’t imagine support that would even come close to that which I’ve received from Old Soul, which has not only helped my conifdence in everything I’ve got going on, it’s solidified and nurtured not only a place for me to tattoo, but grow as a person & artist. 2024 brought me the opportunities with these studios, and for that I am extremly grateful

Social media is hard for me currently. Due to my old account being deleted, I can only use Insta on a web browser (not the app), which makes using meta/Insta extremely dificult. My workload until end of Jan 2025, is the most immense it’s ever been, so fitting in time to awkwardly navigate Instagram to post, suss and scroll, just isn’t really happening at the moment

I’ve currently taken on a lot of work recently that I can’t say too much on at the moment, but what I can say is, I’m beyond flat out until early next year and it feels great. All merch is currently on pre order, with all orders to be sent out & received the week before Christmas. I’ve posted some new swag today for pre order(which I accidentally printed the sleeves in the wrong order, whoooops). All pre orders of the ‘All Cops Push Mongo’ long sleeve will receive their order with their sleeves printed correctly I promise. I should as well have another cool & exciting new line out to show soon, I’m really keen to share that when it’s ready

Otherwise, it’s currently a really cool (crazy busy) time between now and the New Year, with every tattoo booked being something cool & exciting 🥂

I’d love to check in again before New Years day with another blogpost, sharing an update on life and all things relevant. In the New Year as well I’ve got plans to bring more blog type content onto thise site, ranging from game to movie reviews and other things I’d love to share my perspective on

In the meantime, if you’ve made it this far, thank for you for taking the time to catch up on what I’ve got to say. These blogposts do feel carthartic when I approach them as journal entries, so I hope they’re somewhat as fun to read for you as they are rewarding for me to write
