Being a Tattoo artist in Brisbane, an Introduction

Hi there! This is an introduction for myself into writing a blog as it is an introduction of myself to anyone reading this

I’ve recently found myself in a position as a Tattoo artist here in Brisbane, QLD, whom is one amongst many other artists, all asking for buisness from an already spread thin client base. Were all working to stay busy, relevant, available and committed to potential and existing clients to not only grow as artists, but to pay our rent, bills and basic cost of living

I lost all my social media in December 2023, social media that I’ve been using to promote myself & network for the passed decade. Since losing that social media, then trying to rebuild it, it’s been battle that feels not worth the fight. So I’m now trying to reach myself across different platforms while still honing my skills as an artist, rather than try fix any social media situation that may not be fixable

The right way forward on this feels like I need to nurture the current clientele who are still with me, and to not try commercialise my tattooing, rather promote myself in ways that are beneficial, not counter productive

This is a blog that will stay regular, branch across different subjects, hopefully something that can be informing but for me, my main goal is catharsis and embracing more of a journal-type approach to this
